I love AT&T U-Verse and don’t miss Comcast one bit

When I came home from work on Friday I did the usual. Got out my Macbook Pro and set it up on my desk (I take it to and from work everyday, it’s constantly with me) and I turned on the TV to see if there would be anything good on. Sometimes I just like having the TV on for background noise. I switched over from Comcast to AT&T U-Verse a few months ago forever bidding farewell to an ISP who had shown me time and time again how horrible they were yet I felt like I didn’t have a choice since they were the only ISP available who had the speeds I wanted.

Anyway, with the plan we got a DVR which we put in our living room. The only time my husband and I watch TV in the living room is when the DVR recorded a show that we both like, or if we have company. I usually watch TV in my home office otherwise. So on Friday I noticed that I had a few new options on my menu screen then I usually do, and one of them was “Watch Recorded TV” .. I just have a regular cable box in my home office, but to my surprise and excitement I was able to pull what we have on the DVR and watch it! This was very exciting for me, and another reason why we went with AT&T U-Verse.

Now, I didn’t have all the options that I would had I been in the living room watching the TV with the actual DVR attached to it. I couldn’t delete shows from my home office like I could in the living room, which really isn’t a big deal. So now I’m looking for more shows that only “I” want to watch and record on the DVR since I have access to it now.

I don’t regret ever switching. I’ve hated Comcast for the last 8 years I was a Comcast customer. I’ve gotten horrible customer service from them and at at least 3 different locations I had a lot of problems with Comcast dropping signal. Very annoying. So, dear Comcast, I’m so happy that I will never have you in my home again :)
